Documentation

Everything there is to know about the Subnutz Network. It is not a long read, because there is not a lot of network.

Quickstart

  1. Get SOL in any Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack).
  2. Open your wallet's swap tab, or Jupiter.
  3. Paste the contract address. Never search by name; impersonator tokens exist for everything. The only identity that matters is the mint:

  1. Swap. The pool is NUTZ/TAO, so routes may hop through TAO; aggregators handle this automatically.
  2. Hold your nuts. There is no step 6.
Price is denominated in TAO, so the USD chart moves with both NUTZ/TAO and TAO/USD. Every transfer pays a 3% tax that flows back to holders in TAO, so a round trip costs about 8% including pool fees. This is a coin for holding nuts, not flipping them.

Verify the claims

The site and the Nutpaper make exactly five factual claims. All five are on-chain. Check them on Solscan rather than believing anyone:

ClaimHow to verify
Supply is fixedToken page shows Mint Authority: none
No account can be frozenToken page shows Freeze Authority: none
3% transfer tax, fixedThe mint's Token-2022 transfer-fee extension shows 300 basis points, set at launch
The tax goes to holdersCollected tax is redistributed to NUTZ holders in TAO by the launch platform's reward system, automatically, on any venue

Network reference

The Subnutz Network exposes the following interface. It is exhaustive.

GET /nuts 200 OK there are two, there have always been two
GET /roadmap 204 No Content delivered on schedule since inception
GET /team 404 Not Found
POST /promise 403 Forbidden the network rejects all promises at the protocol level
POST /governance 501 Not Implemented, and never will be

There is no API server. The reference above is a complete and truthful description of one anyway.

FAQ

Is this affiliated with Bittensor?

No. Not with Bittensor, the Opentensor Foundation, or any subnet. The tau on the bag is parody, and this page says so in plain text on purpose.

Who runs the network?

Nobody. There is nothing to run. The token contract is immutable and the people who launched it hold none of it and earn nothing from it.

Will there be staking, rewards, or utility later?

There is no staking and no utility. Holders do receive the redistributed 3% transfer tax in TAO, automatically, via the launch platform's reward system; that mechanic was set permanently at launch and nobody can change it, expand it, or promise more of it.

Why does it exist?

Because it is funny. That is the entire reason, and we would rather say so than invent a second one.

Subnutz ($NUTZ) is a meme coin. This documentation is satire presented in the format of documentation. It is not affiliated with Bittensor or the Opentensor Foundation. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a solicitation, or an offer. The token has no utility, no team, no revenue and no roadmap, and nobody is doing any work that would make it worth more. Verify every claim on-chain. Expect nothing and you will never be disappointed.
